Renewable Energy Asset Inspections
Aspex turns solar and wind inspection data into maintenance-ready intelligence — so your team is not left with thousands of images, a long report and another job to interpret.
The real problem
You need to know what is wrong, where it is, how important it is and what should happen next.
Large renewable assets generate an enormous inspection burden. When the result is a folder of imagery, spreadsheets and PDFs, the client still has to do the hard part: interpret the findings, find the asset, decide what matters first and turn it into maintenance work.
Aspex is designed to remove that hand-off.
Utility-scale solar
A solar inspection should not end when the flight ends. It should leave the O&M team with a prioritised, geolocated set of issues that can move directly into corrective work.
Aspex partners with SiteMark where its end-to-end solar workflow is the right fit. Thermal and RGB findings can be converted into geolocated faults, prioritised by severity and operational impact, assigned into corrective actions and carried through to close-out.
Where a client already has another analytics provider, CMMS or preferred workflow, we are equally comfortable structuring the capture and analysis around that environment.

High-resolution RGB and thermal inspection can identify visible deterioration and abnormal condition without sending people to height simply to discover whether a problem exists.
For wind inspections, Aspex works with Scopito to turn capture into structured defect intelligence: the affected turbine and blade area, defect evidence, classification and a clearer maintenance hand-off.
The objective is simple: help asset teams decide where specialist access or repair is genuinely needed, with better information before the crew is mobilised.

What changes for your team
We structure the inspection around the work that follows it.
Findings are tied to the asset and location so field teams can go directly to the area that needs attention.
Prioritisation helps separate defects that need action from observations that can be monitored.
Inspection outputs can be structured for corrective actions, work orders and client maintenance systems.
Repeat inspections and close-out evidence create a condition record that becomes more useful over time.
RGB + thermal
High-resolution imagery provides visual evidence of cracks, surface damage, contamination, corrosion, displaced components and other visible condition indicators.
Thermal imagery adds temperature information that can reveal abnormal behaviour not obvious in standard imagery — particularly across large solar assets and selected turbine components.
Repeatable capture allows the asset team to compare condition over time, verify rectification and establish a defensible baseline for future inspections.
During construction
Aspex also provides solar and wind construction monitoring, progress evidence and digital project intelligence. That capability has its own dedicated page so this page can stay focused on operational inspection and maintenance outcomes.
